KoiWe are in Singapore and Thailand for two and a half weeks! Enjoying ourselves with family in their amazing shophouse (written up in the March issue of Expat Living!): shophouse11.jpgNo, they don’t inhabit the whole thing. Just one 4-story house in the row:shophouse2.jpg They live in Little India.temple.jpgPerumal Temple, a South Indian Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu, right around the corner, and across the street from that, a fast food restaurant dedicated to Mr. Dosai:mrdosai.jpg We have been shown the sights (the Asian Civilisations Museum is very impressive and had a fascinating exhibit on the spread of Buddhism throughout Asia).  And we have been fed…thali.jpg(South Indian set meal at Ananda Bhavan, a vegetarian fast food chain)  …quite handsomely:lobster.jpg(Lobster salad – just the starter – at Jumbo Seafood).  We leave for Thailand in a couple of hours.
