“There’s no regret…” July 25, 2006

Posted by merp in Animules, fernando.

Fernando’s seventh birthday was some time in the last few days.

He didn’t remind us (and we couldn’t remember the exact date); he just shredded some plants to celebrate, then contemplated the passage of time.

Happy Birthday Fernie! If I were there I would give you a big kiss and rub your ears and belly. Hope Tanya and Aaron were not too upset about the plants being shredded. Everyone celebrates in their own way.

Is Fernie staying with you guys or going back home to Phoenix House? I hope you keep him. He is such a cool cat and deserves to have cool purrents who will love him and care for him.

Fernie thanks you for your kind thoughts.

Unclear at the moment where Fernando’s future lies, but we’d like to keep him. We thought three animals would be way too much, but actually it scarcely makes any difference. And I think he’s happier here–if degree of irritation expressed is a good measure.

As a former Phoenix House Resident, I would support you guys becoming Fernie’s Meowmy and Paw Paw. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help you keep him. Do you think all of the former Phoenix House people should take a vote? Is there anyone at Phoenix now who even knows him?

Fernie is a cool cat. I used to love talking with him. I think he should stay where he is happy.

I wish I could have made him a Kitty Birthday Cake!

Happy Birthday Fernando, Keep Pisco in line!
